Rooster cooked in wine, Mediterranean Diet, The Cretan Diet,


Ingredients:


  • 1 rooster
  • 1/2 kilo white wine
  • 5 tomatoes, grated
  • 1 glass extra virgin olive oil  $
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Preparation:

  1. Cut the rooster to pieces (8), wash well and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Saute the rooster with the onion and garlic.
  3. Extinguish with the wine and add the tomatoes, salt and pepper.
  4. Simmer for about 1 hour. 
  5. Just before it starts boiling, sprinkle with the parsley.

  3. i was modified this recipes, I fry the rooster first, and the taste is amazing, you will got a combined crunchy and spicy menu.
